| Bio: | Greetings to my fellow LiveJournal Community Members! My name is Chris, and I am 22 years old. Im visually impaired and was born with a disease called Glaucoma. I'm not embarrassed at all to tell anyone about my disability because I believe its a gift from God and I'm happy with who I am. I know things in life may be hard despite of my low vision but hey without challenges to overcome what kind of life would that be? Here is a definition of Glaucoma just in case you want to know what it means. Main Entry: glaucoma Pronunciation: glau-'kO-m&, glo- Function: noun Definition: A disease of the eye marked by increased pressure within the eyeball that can result in damage to the optic disk and gradual loss of vision. Helpful Hint: I found this definition off of Dictionary.com if anyone needs the site to look up anything. I found this site to be quite resourceful. For a more detailed description you can check out the Glaucoma Research Foundation website. I found this site to be quite informative and may be of use to those with Glaucoma. Beliefs I really don't care if you think of me as wierd or make fun of me after you read this segment but everyone has their own beliefs and such, and these happen to be mine. >I'm a strong believer in that there are other beings in the Universe besides us. >I'm also a believer that spirits do exist whether they are good or bad.
